2018 U.S. JUNIOR BLITZ TOURNAMENT

ELECTRONIC NOTATION DEVICES & COMPUTERS

The only four electronic chess notation devices which are approved for and allowed in a USCF-rated tournament are the Monroi, the e-Notate PDA, the Plycount and the Chess NoteR. You may use any of these devices, but the device must remain on top of the table at all times (you may not hold it under the table in your lap or under the tablecloth).  The electronic notation device may not leave the tournament room until your game is finished.  If you get up to leave the tournament room, you must leave the device on the table at your board - it cannot be taken with you while your game is still in progress.  The tournament director has the right to request to see your notation device at any time before, during or after your game.

No computers (laptops, tablets, notebooks, or any other type of computing device) will be allowed in the tournament room at any time, whether it belongs to a player, parent, friend, or anyone else, except a Tournament Director.
